The build quality of the bag is excellent. The materials are very high quality and are very durable. The handles for when you’re carrying the bag as a briefcase are very strong. There is some kind of braided material that looks to be metal underneath the comfort handles which will definitely increase durability. The exterior shell of the bag is a strong-feeling nylon-like material that should easily resist water or dirt and would be very easy to clean with just a damp cloth. There is also a detachable shoulder strap included for extra versatility.
While the exterior is great, it’s the interior that really sets this bag apart. The first pocket is lines with soft material to keep from scratching screens and lenses. There are two adjustable restraining panels so you can easily customize the layout of the compartment to suit your individual needs. This compartment also contains four pen holders and three large mesh pouches to secure small notebooks, phones, or other flat items.
The second compartment is also lined with soft material and looks to be for a laptop and tablet. This compartment can hold both, with space for a large laptop. It’s definitely large enough for a 17-inch laptop and because this is the centre compartment of the bag the laptop and tablet will be very secure.
The last compartment opens very widely and is full of mesh compartments as well as a zipper pocket. This is definitely a perfect compartment for people like me who intend to use this bag for electronics, chargers, cables, cameras, and other gear. This will keep your stuff sorted, accessible, and well-organized.
The front of the bag also features a zipper pocket which I think it designed for documents, and the back of the pouch has a smaller pocket that looks to be for travel documents like passports. Of course there is a look that allows you to slide the bag over the handle of a rolling suitcase which makes this bad perfect for travel.
At first glance this bag does seem expensive, however I do believe there is really good value here. If you’re in flight school you will definitely find this bag well suited to your needs. But if you’re not a pilot-in-training there is still a lot of utility to this bag for carrying your computer, tablet, small cameras, or other electronic gear with you when you travel.
This is a high-quality bag that will not disappoint, and I can feel comfortable recommending it.

The Canadian Flight Trainers pilot bag comes in black with blue trim, as a purpose made gear bag for student and working pilots.
There are many compartments, mesh pockets, and dividers. Some are Velcro and can be moved around.
It is nicely made, with good materials, padding, and stitching.
Storage is laid out with pockets sized for headsets, tablets, manuals, and the usual personal items you haul around.
It is divided into three zippered sections, with a zippered pocket on the front.
The back can be used as a pocket, but also has a bottom zipper you can open.
Then the back pocket functions as a suitcase handle mounting strap.
This is larger than a notebook bag, and a bit smaller than an average backpack.
With a ton of pockets and dividers, this makes a pretty nice, organized flight bag.

I thought this bag was decent. It is not ‘small’ so you should feel like you could carefully pack a day or two of clothing here. The many pockets are useful for all the essentials. I found no issues with build quality and the zipper and fabric feel fine. It held up fine in a wash cycle with an air dry. Overall, it’s a decent flight bag.

Used a regular backpack before but switched to this after it came out. It organizes everything better and the price is way more affordable than the other bags out there. I’d make the side pocket a bit bigger for a water bottle or something but it can also just go in the middle pocket.
