Radio Operator’s Certificate – Aeronautical

This Radio Operator’s Certificate Aeronautical course will prepare students for their ISED ROC-A Examination. Led by ISED Examiner and Class 1 Flight Instructor Daniel Gustin, students will be exposed to real life scenarios which are designed to encourage deep learning, help you become proficient on the radio, and help you pass the licensing examination.

Assessment tasks and the final examinations are based on real questions from the ISED ROC-A Examination.

Reference material include the ROC-A Study Guide and NavCanada VFR Phraseology Guide.

This preparation course is designed for future pilots, drone operators, and future airport workers.
