Qualification

Professional Qualifications

Daniel Gustin is a Canadian Airline Captain and aviation educator holding a Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating and a Master of Education (M.Ed.). He has prior experience as a Class 1 Aerobatic Instructor, has published aviation safety articles (including in the Aviation Safety Letter), and participates in Canadian aviation stakeholder and safety discussions through CARAC and ATAC. Daniel is a former Sessional Professor (Seneca College) with experience teaching aviation and training-related subjects.

Daniel’s expertise includes training curriculum developmentpolicy analysis, and plain-language technical communication. Daniel has been featured on Canadian evening news and has provided aviation subject-matter commentary for outlets including CTVCP24, and The Toronto Star.
