Military Terminal Control Area (MTCA)

A Military Terminal Control Area (MTCA) is terminal-area controlled airspace established around military aerodromes. Like civilian terminal control areas, the MTCA provides structured airspace for arrivals and departures but is administered by military ATC. Civilian pilots must comply with applicable airspace and communication requirements when operating in or near an MTCA.
