A CPL isn’t just a harder written exam — it’s the start of your career. This course was designed by active commercial and airline pilots to close the gap between theory and the flight deck, so you can make the jump from 200-hour wonder to the right seat of a turboprop, a flight instructor position, or a jet first officer role with confidence.
You get over 80 hours of material — meeting Transport Canada’s prerequisites — with video lectures, presentations, and quizzes built specifically for the commercial level. Every practice exam is constructed from feedback provided by students who have written the real CPAER, and our Multi-Engine Ground School is included at no extra charge.
On completion you receive a ground school record, and if you pass our practice exams, a letter of recommendation to challenge the Transport Canada exam. A T2202 form is issued to every student for income tax purposes. Prerequisite: a Private Pilot Licence.

How hard is commercial pilot ground school?
The material is deeper than the PPL, but our curriculum design keeps it manageable. Students consistently tell us they don’t feel lost — they feel like they’re learning something practical for their careers, which is exactly the point.
How long does it take to become a commercial pilot in Canada?
Following issuance of a private pilot licence, a Canadian CPL can take as little as one year — or as long as you’d like. Our ground school is self-paced, with billing options for both fast finishers and students spreading the work over 9 or 12 months.
What are the pricing options?
Choose $199 every 4 months, or a single enrolment for 9 or 12 months — each with a 7-day free trial. The 4-month option is a recurring subscription that continues until cancelled. Extensions are available for a small fee.
What is the refund policy?
